About

My name is Alayna Thompson and I recently graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Since 2022 I have worked in the Elon Undergraduate Human Anatomy Cadaver Lab as both a teaching assistant and foreman of the teaching assistants. During my time I gained valuable skills in dissection techniques, preparing bodies, and lab safety protocol. I also gained knowledge on how to manage and communicate with my team, faculty, and other students. My job as foreman required me to expand upon my leadership, organizational, and management abilities. During this time I was also able to continue to learn more new things about anatomy every-time I stepped into the lab and share my passion with students. Currently I am looking for positions as an autopsy technician so I can continue to serve my community and learn about anatomy.
