Pre-need Funeral and Cemetery Arrangements are an important step for anyone planning for the future. Pre-planning ensures wishes are carried out, prevents emotional overspending, locks in today’s prices and relieves families from the burden of making difficult decisions at an already difficult time.
We are looking for a full-time professional and compassionate individual to join our team. Our Advisors are responsible for educating families and individuals on the benefits of advance funeral planning, selling funeral services, merchandise and cemetery property, etc.
Training is provided.
*Upon receipt of an offer of employment, candidates must complete required drug testing within 24 hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Selling funeral services, merchandise and cemetery property.
- Making sales presentations.
- Prospecting and obtaining referrals.
- Working in the community to promote the benefits of pre-planning.
- Providing information on products, identifying costs, arranging financing terms and effectively closing the sale.
- Calling on company provided leads.
- Making sales presentations and presenting informational seminars.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- A professional and well-mannered appearance and demeanor.
- Attention to detail.
- Desire to help families and like working with seniors.
- Must be able to pass a full background check.
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience/education.
- 2-14 Insurance License - no longer required.
- Bilingual in English / Spanish is required.
- Pre Need Funeral Sales experience is a plus.
- Highest regard to integrity and ethical conduct.
- Strong written/verbal presentation and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently to specific performance standards and goals.
- Strong drive to succeed and self-motivated.
- Strong work ethic and takes personal pride in their quality of work.
- Basic computer skills.
- Current drivers license and clean driving record. Must have reliable transportation.
- Creative, outgoing, and energetic.
- Comfortable with in-home sales and conducting group presentations.

We offer:
Compensation: Hourly rate plus commission. Opportunity to make $45,000 - $100,000 plus / year plus bonuses.
Time Off:
Five Personal days
Five Vacation days
Ten days total for Years 1-3. 15 days thereafter.
Insurance:
100% paid by Employer Health Insurance, Vision and Dental after 90 days employment. (Any co-pay charges are the responsibility of the Employee)
401K:
After 90 days employment.
